Over the past few years, I've gotten into dungeons and dragons. What started as a whim has turned into a group of good friends and a fun way to channel creativity. I recently read The Mountain in the Sea, by Ray Nayler, and it has left me thinking in the way only a good book can. This is a short post to discuss and process my thoughts, spanning consciousness, un-thinking, and how our environments shape our minds.

Some highlight and many photos from a 2023 hiking trip through Sedona and the Grand Canyon, culminating in a stay at Phantom Ranch and a 10 mile, 5000 ft elevation gain trek out of the canyon.
Some reflections on a trip to Jaipur, back in 2023. I focus on some thoughts and photos about the art-filled mansion we stayed in.
